Tailwaggers Thrift Shop is a  boutique-style thrift store offering quality used merchandise at affordable prices. We specialize in antiques and collectibles, but also carry high-end jewelry, stylish clothing in good condition, household items (including full sets of dishware and glasses), a wide variety of books & furniture, as well as arts & crafts supplies.

Best of all, 100% of Tailwaggers' profits go to support the adoption, spay/neuter and education programs of the Sequoia Humane Society. So when you buy a special treasure at Tailwaggers you're also helping us help the animals!

Please visit Tailwaggers Thrift Shop in friendly Henderson Center, on the corner of F & Henderson across the street from Vellutini Bakery. Come by during your lunch hour or while you're out running errands, and in the summer don't forget the Henderson Center Farmer's Market every Thursday.

You can help the animals at the Sequoia Humane Society by bringing your gently used clothing, furniture, jewelry, books & household items to Tailwaggers Thrift Shop.  Donations are tax-deductible – just ask for a receipt!

Spring cleaning? Having a yard sale? Or maybe you bought a new set of dishes and you want to “recycle” the old ones. Bring your hand-me-downs to Tailwaggers Thrift Shop and we’ll put them to good use!

Have a large piece of furniture you want to donate? Call us – we might be able to come pick it up for you.

If you love animals and enjoy the company of a fun and supportive group while working flexible hours, this is the place for you!  Your valuable contributions of time and talent can make a huge difference in the lives of homeless animals at the Sequoia Humane Society. Tailwaggers offers lots of opportunities for you to reach out.  Join our dedicated team of volunteers in our efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of homeless animals. Your support is greatly needed and deeply appreciated.

Help is needed in the following areas:

• Customer service
• Sorting, tagging and hanging clothes
• Straightening and stocking merchandise on racks and shelves
• Cashiering
• Pricing and displaying
• Assisting with pick-ups and deliveries (Proof of insurance/ driver’s license is required.)

....Volunteers at Tailwaggers Thrift Shop in Henderson Center recently
requested, and were granted, management authority over daily store
operations. In the late 1970's, volunteers of what is now known as the
Sequoia Humane Society began holding rummage sales to raise money to build
a shelter - an effort that eventually culminated in the Tailwaggers Thrift
Shop of today. In 2002, the organization hired a store manager to help
expand the shop and increase its income potential. Since that time store
sales have more than doubled resulting in an ongoing recruitment for
additional volunteers. The quality of donations continues to improve and
the growing clientele has developed a stronger feeling of connection with
the store.
